Textbook Reconnaissance Completing a textbook reconnaissance prior to or right after the first class can help you in preparing for the semester. You will become aware of help provided by the publisher and it will give you a general sense of what will be covered in the course.

Follow the brief outline below as you examine your texts. What is an intention statement? A journal entry detailing a problem from your discovery statement and the steps how you are going to approach and change it.

What are some guidelines for intention statements? What are some ways of making the transition into college easier? What are some tools adults can use when re-entering college? A, and ultimately graduating with a diploma or not!! Although I have seen and know all the material presented interlinks to draw attention to becoming a master student in an everyday college career my focal points will be address my weakness in health, planning, memory, reading, and testing.

And after telling the truth a few times, you would also be amazed as to how those leading questions seem to stop. The third and last thing I will try is using some of the exercises in the book, namely the Discovery Wheel on pages , and the Learning Style Inventory, to figure out the best ways to learn for me, and find out how to make changes in not only, the way I learn, but how I can make my job as a minister be even more fruitful.

If I can use these tools, I can touch more people easily with God's word than if I just figure out how I can make it more easily understood, and can help people understand in the way that they learn best, just cover all the bases.
