When is indianapolis fireworks

A 2 pm parade kicks off the festivities across from the Pittsboro Fire department and through downtown on Main. Food and entertainment will be offered at Scamahorn Park with the evening concluding with a 10pm fireworks show. The festival spans four days. Fireworks cap off the celebration on July 4th at 10pm. Guests are invited to purchase dinner from food trucks and then enjoy the fireworks that are set to begin at dark. Bring your own chairs and picnic blankets.

The fireworks will launch from the North Meridian office building. The minute show will be synced to popular patriotic and themed music aired on local Emmis Communications radio stations B July 1st — 4th Ceraland Park will host an Independence celebration. Opening day June 25th caps off with a firework show then come back on July 4th to close out the fair with a second show.

Enjoy the fair all day then stay for the fireworks! A parade, carnival, fish fry, food trucks, car show, live bands, and, of course, a spectacular fireworks show! Clair Street to Ohio Street. Meridian Street will be closed from St. Before the pandemic, a downtown "Freedom Fest" in the Indiana War Memorial area would precede the fireworks, but that event will not take place this year. Still, Schultz encouraged spectators to arrive early and visit downtown restaurants or businesses ahead of the show. Michael Beard, fire marshal for the Indianapolis Fire Department, asked that spectators refrain from setting off their own fireworks at the event.

Since Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett announced on Tuesday that the city would lift almost all COVID restrictions starting July 1 , there are no pandemic-related restrictions for people gathering downtown. Contact Asha Prihar at aprihar gannett.
