How does prestige work in black ops

We know the thrill of chasing the coveted title of Prestige Master, and the bragging rights that come along with it with each new game. So, yes the prestige system is back! But this time around they have tweaked and fine-tuned the system around seasons rather than your own playtime. There is a brand new way that the prestige system is going to work over the course of Black Ops Cold War. They have noted it as Seasonal Prestige and they have referred to it as their Deepest Progression yet.

Before the first season kicks off on December 10th, you will be able to earn three prestige symbols; which they have noted is the pre-season. One thing about Elden Ring's open world leaves me a bit confused.

Reaching Season Level is a monumental achievement, so Treyarch is keen to mark the occasion for the most dedicated players with the Prestige Master title. This title can be earned each season, so there are six to collect, overall. Reaching this coveted level allows you to choose which Legacy Prestige Icon you'd prefer to equip. It also changes the colour of your prestige level to make it abundantly clear to others that you're a Cold War champion.

That's not even the end of the line, though. After reaching Prestige Master, each season allows us to level up as high as Season Level , with rewards dropping every 50 levels. I can't see myself reaching Season Level , but I'm looking forward to seeing who'll reach this impressive feat first. This means that as of the beginning of Season One, your military rank has been reset across all three games.

So, if you're still keen to dip into Modern Warfare, your military rank, seasonal level, and prestige level will synchronise with Warzone and Cold War. Thankfully, everything you've unlocked, including your killstreaks, perks, and weapons will remain safe and sound in your inventory.
